In 2001, the Museum & Archive Society commissioned the painting of a large mural on the side of the Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada's office building in Claresholm, Alberta. The mural used the original painting by Wendy Risdale depicting three Appaloosa horses in a pasture setting.
