Todd has been judging for 19 years and in that time has judged approximately 95 shows.  He also holds a Judges card wit the APHA.  Todd has been a professional trainer for 20 years specializing in western pleasure and reining as well as youth and amateur instruction.  He currently trains a limited number of horses.  As well, he is a full time custom saddle maker with 25 years experience in that trade.

Mike judged the ApHCC Nationals in 2003 and 2006 and he has judged the National or World shows for all cards held.  He has been a professional horse trainer since 1960 working with Open and Non Pro clients specializing in Reining.  Living in Salem, Virginia, Mike continues to  judge all over the World.  He has been a featured instructor at Color Breed Council in Oklahoma City and will be again in 2009.  He currently resides with another ApHCC/ApHC Judge, Shannon Ketcheson.

Owner of Melody Acres, Owen Sound, ON, Melanie Gray comes from a business background in buying, marketing and sales.  Melanie is an Equine Canada Level 2 Coach as well as an equine massage specialist and has done approximately 450 case studies all being a very positive and helpful reward to our equine friend. She also does massage on show cattle. She states: "I am truly delighted in being a part of this wonderful industry and thankful to all that have chosen to work with me." 

Louise has been showing horses for many years in southern Ontario.  Louise has been judging for over 20 years and had her start in 4-H. Her equine background includes training and showing paints and quarterhorses.  She currently runs a small boarding and lesson facility plus is a secondary school teacher. Her favorite classes to exhibit in are trail and hunter under saddle..

Doreen was born in England where she started riding at the age of nine.  Following immigration to Canada, she showed in her first horse show and was hooked for life.  Doreen has shown in almost every Western and English event over the past forty-plus years.  She has been judging for at least 30 of those years and held an ApHCC card for over 20 years. Doreen has attended Color Breed Council International Judges Seminar twice.  She and her husband Cliff live in Nanton Alberta where they train, breed and show mainly Appaloosa horses, concentrating on Western and Halter.

Lita's full time occupation is training all round horses.  She is also involved with both the AQHA and APHA associations.  Lita has been conducting clinics and judging in Europe for the past 5 years. She has judged ApHCC Nationals, POAC Nationals, ApHC Youth world and PtHA Congress. She authors articles for equine periodicals and works with riders with disabilities.  She started with Trakehners in dressage and jumping and also performed with the Texas White Horse Troupe as a teen.

Shannon has been involved in the Appaloosa breed all her life. She has served on the executive of the EOAHC for 16 years and for the past 7 years on the UOAHC executive currently as Show Manager.  She is a certified Ring Steward with Color Breed Council, has Judged in every province in Canada, was Chair of the 2005 ApHCC National Show in Regina and Judged the New South Wales State Championships in  Dubbo, Australia in 2006.   Shannon has relocated to Salem, Virginia and resides with Mike Baker, another ApHC/ApHCC Judge.

Mark McCarthy hails from Longmont, Colorado.  He is an educator and horse trainer and is married with one son.  He has judged horses for 24 years and specializes in Western Performance Horses.  Mark has judged such notable events as the ApHC Appaloosa Nationals in 1999 and 2004, Paint Horse Congress, Canadian Appaloosa Congress, Australian Appaloosa Nationals in 2005 , Yankee Classic and the Mane Event.

Christy Wood owns and operates the Wood 'N Horse Training Stables in Three Rivers CA.  She has judged the US Appaloosa Nationals 3 times and has judge several National shows for other associations in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
