strikingly handsome dark bay stallion with blanketed hips and halo spots,
Wapiti's Senor turned heads wherever he went. A 1971 son of the
famed Wapiti and out of a mare named Spanish Needles, Senor was bred by
Jim Wild and brought to Ontario as a youngster by Ted and Edith Caston. His
very successful show career included such titles as Canadian National
Champion in 1974 and Ontario Grand Champion in 1973, '74,'75 and '76. He
was awarded National Superior Halter Award #5 and also achieved the
National Supreme Halter Award. Wapiti
Senor died in 1994 at the age of 23, shortly after breeding a mare.
He is buried on the Wyevale farm where he spent most of his life.
