Foaled
in 1945, Speckel Boy was sired by Sonny Boy (ApHC#261), and out
of a Thoroughbred mare named Lady Good Horse. Bred by John Poynter
of Cochrane Alberta, and owned by Wyalta Ranch of High River, Alberta
Speckel Boy was a mainstay of his owner's operation for countless
years. Earning several Championships and top honors on both sides
of the border, including the National Shows, Speckel Boy was indeed
a real ambassador of the breed, and a fine addition to the ApHCC
Hall of Fame.

in Western Pleasure, Reining, Trail and Stock Horse, as well as
being named CHSA Appaloosa Champion many times.
